Refund and Returns Policy

At swaadesh, we are committed to providing you with high-quality products and a delightful shopping experience. We understand that sometimes things don’t go as planned, which is why we have established a transparent and straightforward return policy.

By shopping with us, you agree to the terms outlined below.


1. Damaged or Faulty Items

If you receive a product that is damaged or faulty, we will gladly resolve the issue for you.

  • Timeframe: You must file a claim within 2 days (48 hours) of delivery.

  • Proof Required: You must provide an unboxing video showing the package being opened for the first time as proof of the damage/fault.

  • Resolution Options: * A direct replacement of the exact item.

    • An alternative product of equal value (if the original item is out of stock).

    • A full refund, if you prefer.

2. "Didn't Like It" / Product Exchanges

If the product is physically intact but you are not entirely satisfied with it, we offer an exchange-only option.

  • Timeframe: You must request an exchange within 24 hours of delivery.

  • Policy: We offer a replacement (swap) only for these cases; no refunds will be issued.

  • Condition: The item must be completely unused, unwashed, unaltered, and returned with all original tags and packaging fully intact.

3. Order Cancellations

  • Once an order has been booked and processed, or after it has been shipped, it cannot be cancelled. Please review your order carefully before completing your purchase.


4. How to Initiate a Return or Exchange

To officially initiate a return or exchange, please follow these steps:

  1. Send an email to talk.swaadesh@gmail.com within the specified timeframe (24 hours for exchanges, 48 hours for damages).

  2. Include your Order ID, a brief description of the issue, and the required unboxing video/photographs.

  3. Important Note: Do not self-ship any product back to us without receiving an official confirmation and instructions from our team. Unauthorised returns will not be processed.

5. Shipping & Additional Conditions

  • All items sent back for replacement must be in their original condition with tags and packaging intact.

  • Unless otherwise explicitly agreed by swaadesh, return courier charges and original shipping fees are non-refundable and are to be borne by the customer.

  • Each product undergoes a strict quality check before being shipped to ensure it meets our high standards.

6. Please note that we do not refund the shipping charges incurred by you.
